Large Boxed Replacement Wick A Fragrance Lamp comprises of a decorative vase, catalytic stone/wick assembly, snuffer cap and decorative crown. This is a replacement stone/wick assembly for use in a large Ashleigh and Burwood fragrance lamp. The stone assembly is made up of two parts, an outer and inner section. The outer part is coated with platinum to act as the catalyst and purifies the air of bad smells, bacteria, dust mites and mould spores. The inner part of the stone allows Ashleigh & Burwood lamp fragrances to be effectively diffused into the air without the scent notes of the fragrance being burnt off or changed. Visit ashleigh-burwood.co.uk to discover more about fragrance lamps, catalytic combustion and the lamps benefits.Cleaning your wickUse this method if you have the following issues: 1) Your wick won't light 2)Your wick won't get hot 3) Your wick won't remain lit for 2-3 minutes 4) You're not receiving a good fragrance throw; If you're experiencing the above issues, your wick could be blocked; 1. Take your stone/wick assembly out of your Lamp and put into a ceramic bowl/cup (be careful when doing this as your wick will be soaked with Lamp Fragrance), ensure the surface underneath is covered. 2. Pour your Lamp Fragrance into your bowl/cup and fill until 2-3 cm full. 3. Cover with cling film and put into a cool dark place. Leave for 24 hours. 4. Place the wick back into your Lamp, bearing in mind the rope/wick part of the wick will be soaked in Lamp Fragrance, so again be careful with any dripping. 5. Replace the snuffer cap and leave for 10 minutes. 6. After 10 minutes light the wick. Please use caution as initially the flame will be quite high (up to 3 inches). 7. Use your Lamp again as normal!
