The included basking platform is perfect for aquatic turtles and other semi-aquatic animals. It covers the entire integrated water filtration system and extends across the backside of the aquarium. The sloping ramp on the platform allows for effortless access. To ensure the safety of your turtles. Additionally, there is a removable glass panel which can be positioned above the platform, acting as a protective barrier to prevent escape.

The Exo Terra Turtle Haven comes with a built-in water filtration system and a basking platform. The filtration system is a powerful 2-stage design with a large filter volume and two multi-directional outflow nozzles. It ensures proper water circulation and aeration. The system is divided into four chambers: an inlet chamber with a grid and coarse foam sponge, two chambers with medium foam sponges, and a chamber to hide the filter pump and Exo Terra 150W Turtle Heater. The dual multi-directional outflow nozzles allow for customisable water flow and increased surface movement for optimal water oxygenation.

The Exo Terra Turtle Haven has a bottom drainage system that makes removing excess water and weekly water changes much easier. The bottom part of the terrarium is waterproof once the tubing, elbow-connector and tap valve are connected to the drain.
