JBL Prosilent A100 Air Pump for Aquarium 100L/h
JBL ProSilent a100 is a new extremely quiet air pump generation for aquaria with an air output of 100 litres per hour.
The pump operates at an extremely low noise level due to a completely new construction design incorporating a silencer.
JBL ProSilent air pumps are scarcely audible. Precision workmanship and high quality materials ensure long working life.
Place the JBL ProSilent pump above the water surface for protecting the pump for flow-back of the water. If the pump is located below the water surface, it is recommended to install a non-return valve in the air hose to the pump.
An air pump for aquariums is an advantage during the night since plants need light to produce oxygen. In thinly planted aquariums the air pump supplies the necessary water circulation.
In aquariums with dense planting the air pump provides the aquarium with oxygen at night, since the number of plants means the oxygen concentration can drop to a dangerous level. When disease is present in the aquarium the air pump increases the oxygen level in the water, an essential condition for many medications.
